• One the best example of SaaS (Software as a Service) in Mobile Computing is SoundHound.
• Its a Music Recognition service which is hosted in the "Cloud".
• The smartphones don't have the power and processing engine to process Millions of Music database very fast.
• Thus, a simple command (press of some buttons), music can be easily recognized and you will get the Singer's name, Album, Youtube, lyrics etc.
• No wonder people now coined a new name for smartphone that uses cloud computing - "Cloud Phones"
